Before you graduate from Voorhees, you will be required to take a graduate or professional school admission test. These tests, particularly the GRE, are a bit like the SAT, except that they are for graduate and professional school admission instead of college. If you score high enough on the test, you may be admitted; if you score too low, you will not. Other tests of interest to a graduate, such as the PRAXIS and ASVAB, must be taken successfully for you to be eligible for certain careers. So, if you want to get into graduate school, medical school, law school, or business school, or if you want to be a teacher or go into the military, it is important that you do well on the appropriate tests.
Of course, to do well on any test, you must study, which is not easy to do for specialized tests like these. Admission tests are not based on information from class lectures or required textbooks, so you will need to find materials to help you prepare. That is where this guide comes in. We have collected a variety of resources that may be used to prepare for several of the most common admission tests. To access these resources, click on any of the tabs for the different tests above.
DISCLAIMER: the organizations that regulate these tests usually update them on a regular basis. Though noncurrent and/or nonoffical materials are often useful for general study, we suggest you rely as much as possible on official test preparation materials.
